Energy-Optimized Production Machines

With simple measures, such as shutting down during non-use times or a more adequate operation, the consumption of the auxiliary units can be reduced significantly. Alongside the quantification of optimization potentials of existing facilities through energy demand analyses in the form of quick scans and energy measurements, the development of efficient crossover technologies as well as the optimization of processes is propelled by the research focus „Energy-Optimized Production Machines“.

Through an holistic investigation of the production process and the repercussions of energy efficiency potentials on following processes, the energy demand of the entire process chain is to be minimized.
